We collaborated with one of our clients on a project to build an MVP desktop mining app. The primary objective was to create an engaging user experience for gamers, enabling them to mine cryptocurrency and use it to purchase items for popular games like CSGO and Dota 2 from the integrated shop.
The client's business model relied on taking a share of all crypto mined by users. Therefore, our challenge was to design an app that would encourage users to mine as much as possible regularly.
We started with the logo that would stand out to gamers but didn't feature any typical gaming symbols like coins or gamepads. It had to be memorable and resonate with the app's target audience.
After several brainstorming sessions, we decided to combine a G with a triangle cursor. The neon green gradient made the logo look super techy and gamey. Our design team worked on several iterations until we achieved a logo that was unique, bold, and reflective of the app's purpose.
Next step was to design the MVP of the desktop app to acquire the first users. The UX and UI were critical components to attract and retain users, so we put in a ton of work to make it super engaging and visually appealing. And it payed off.
Within just three months since launch, the project had experienced a remarkable 800% growth and reached the break-even point.

We also implemented a system that rewarded users with in-app bonuses for consistent mining. These bonuses could be used to purchase items from the shop or exchanged for more cryptocurrency.
The Crypto Shop offers users the ability to browse and purchase items for popular online games using cryptocurrency. Users no longer have to go through the hassle of converting their mined cryptocurrency to fiat currency to purchase in-game items.
The shop's user interface is easy to navigate, and the purchasing process is simple and straightforward
Purchased items are added to the inventory and can be withdrawn to the user's game account at any time.
